Amy is a contemporary female bust designed for painters. It helps them practise skin tones and facial volumes without distractions. Her long hair softly frames her face and shoulders. It creates natural shadow and highlight areas for you to explore. Her calm, neutral look lets you focus on form and tone rather than a complex story. There are no accessories, armour, or fantasy details to distract you from painting.

Amy is part of the Academic Busts collection. I designed her to help painters practise Caucasian skin tones, face painting, and value control. Her longer hair lets you explore how light interacts with different surfaces in the same piece. At 1/10th scale, she is big enough for serious blending work without becoming overwhelming.

You can pick whichever suits your comfort level – or paint all three if you like.

You’ll get both a pre-supported file and an unsupported one. You can start printing right away or customise the supports to fit your printer and resin. The model has clean geometry and works well on most standard resin printers. It’s been test-printed on an Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro.

Amy is a great starting point for new and intermediate painters who want a forgiving, familiar subject. Caucasian skin tones are well documented. There are many resources and tutorials available. This makes Amy a confident start in serious face studies. She is also great for experienced painters. They can use her for a clean, distraction-free warm-up before starting a more complex project.
